Hard Times

Through the pestilence we struggle to survive
Every day it gets more difficult to breath
Once it was nothing but an apprehensive thought
One which has now turned into reality
Mass hysteria begins to be the norm
All of the ignorant have something to believe
Even though we know the ways to improve our lives
The simple truth we seek is hard to achieve
Manipulating our youth since the day they are born
Fulfilling their nefarious role to misinform
Hush; now it’s too late… nothing you can say will change this
Hope seems to be lost… all your prayers fell on deaf ears
People running amok… chaos of all shades and forms
There’s no place to run to
Whole societies drowned in madness
Self-proclaimed saviors herd masses
Those few who can see through all this
Viciously get taken down
Nations deceived by pretty words
Could not see the wolves in sheep’s clothes
Though mankind has seen this often
History has taught us nothing
Looking back at all the signs that we ignored
An enormous sense of guilt takes over me
We all saw them slowly crushing what we had
We allowed those weak men to win
By manipulating the youth since the day they were born
They managed to reach all their goals, our society is gone.

A Spark of Hope
03:34
|

On the streets that resemble oceans of blood
Amongst piles of bodies we were all brought up
Hearing stories of glorious days which are long gone
Wondering how long we will go on
Fraudulent tales trying to rewrite auld lang syne
Raising memorials to those who enslave minds
Mentally disturbed despots led the world to dismay
The anguish pushed into our souls auspicious tactics to refrain
Us from seeing what’s behind their despicable plans
The curse shall be broken now on bright days brought by strong men
Witnessing how their lies have destroyed our lives
We shall have our revenge and take back what is ours

Naivety

Easy access To everything All of the treats Many only dream to achieve
No real strife Take what you need Such a utopia You only have to feed your greed
Reaping from the crops others bled for
Feeling so entitled, self-righteous complaints
Spoiled by the peace others died for
A shame that they can’t see their own mistakes
The earth you walk Has seen distress You have seen nothing But still you think that you know best
Arrogant fools Try to convey Some moral high ground You’re cattle yet you think you ain’t
Reaping from the crops others bled for
Feeling so entitled, self-righteous complaints
Spoiled by the peace others died for
A shame that they can’t see at all!
Gullible pricks Cannot conceive How modern life Has turned them into mere sheep
False narratives Misguide your peers Such meager minds You’re even weaker than we feared.
Reaping from the crops others bled for
Feeling so entitled, self-righteous complaints
Spoiled by the peace others died for
A shame that they can’t see…
Reaping from the crops others bled for
Feeling so entitled, self-righteous complaints
Spoiled by the peace others died for
A shame that they can’t see at all!

Weaklings

Forcefully sucked into a decaying and vile unholy experiment
Witnessing all of mankind’s fruitful attempts to decimate its own self
Try to ignore all that you have done to this world but it’s helpless
Soon you shall see how all your mischievous acts will be your downfall
Lie and deceive take advantage prey on the meek see them suffer
Manipulate rise to power rejoice on all the innocent’s bloodshed
Build your empire watch from the top behold the chaos which you have brought
Don’t look back now that’s what you have always wanted show no regret
Born in good times made you into such a weakling goddamn cattle
Trusting what they tell you is true helping their cause to destroy all
Laugh away now while you can your foolish acts will have a price
Twisted and flawed your moral compass shall doom us all bringing hard times
